Which grade of mesh is best suitable for screen printing t shirts

Which mesh count is best for screen printing on t shirts.

There are many variables to this, and it depends on what you are printing, but if I were to pick just one mesh count it would be a 156 for what I usually print at this time.

Thanks, I kinda figured as much. I was on the thought track that it depends on what type of ink, design type etc.....

I'll ask this, what would I need 200+ mesh count for?
For plastisol, I normally use 110 and 156 for white and underbases, 200 for more detailed designs, 230 and 280 for simulated process and 305 for 4 color process. Now all that can go out the window depending on the design, ink and feel that you want. I have used 200 for white before and and sometimes higher meshes for colors if I want a softer feel. There are so many variables that can change anything so it's really something you will figure out the more you print.
