I need tip know from someone using DTG machines which way they would go with budget of 50k +/- and a budget of 100k +/-

our partner that currently does screen printing is moving the shop and we are going to add DTG services in the new location.

This is time sensitive and not someone just getting a warm and fuzzy feeling. we have to decide what we are going to get to be able to get the ball rolling.

Thanks in advance Fam...

In the 50 k budget I would go with one or two EPSON F2100 (3 years warranty extension is a must have).

With 100 k I would go with two or three EPSONs since I think it will be more productive per hour than one bigger machine (Aeoon or Kornit) and if you have just one printer that goes down, you're down.

It depends of volume you print. Maybe you need just one small printer.

Personally I dream about printing on Kornit because of washability on darks, but with my volume of work I am not even close to it :D

More machines to maintain but it’s really not that bad. Well mine isn’t. I was almost scared out of dtg because all you hear is maintenance but honestly it doesn’t take long and it’s not that bad. Equivalent to cooking a meal but others are use to carry out lol

Hello,

What would be your print volume per day?
Because a DTG printer that does not turn every day costs expensive maintenance.

I have 9 years of experience in digital printing with kornit, I have 1 avalanche 1000 and 2 storm.
With your budget I advise you a Kornit Breeze.

Regards
Sebastien
