For shirts you want "heat transfer film" or "heat transfer vinyl" sometimes called HTV. Stahls (fashion film) and Sissor (easy weed) both offer tons of colors, styles of the material, and videos showing you the ins and outs of it.

For adhesive backed vinyl (what you see on back windows and truck/car doors, etc. Oracal is a popular brand. 651 is calendared and 751, 951 is cast. You will also need transfer tape, we like transfer right 582u medium tack.

Sorry but I cant offer any advice on the cameo, dont have one.

Maybe one is the cameo 3 and one is the original or the cameo 2?
Just guessing here.
We have many customers using the Silhouette. It is a very good hobby cutter. The price at Hobby Lobby is very attractive.
