Really open ended question here, I think you could have concluded with just a search of exactly what your title asks.

To answer personally, I think alot of people consider Gildan for their brand recognition, although personally I prefer Anvil because my supplier gives a great deal on them. Hanes are kinda associated with Walmart, and most have printed labels.
Before you buy a case buy a couple of each manufacturer try the different weights see which works out for you. But Gildan or Anvil you cant go wrong with either one
Thanks guys.. Im new to this so bare with me.. Again thanks for the replies!!
Buy several brands in YOUR size.

Print on them and wash and wear them.

This is one of the best ways to get the "feel"
of the shirts and know how to explain them
to your customers.

I would also suggest buying the same collection
of shirts for the opposite sex and have the wife or
sister or GF wear them.

Gildan is my fav! Watch out for Jerzees/Fruit of the Loom. I printed a huge order for a lawn and landscape company using Fruit of the Loom in a khaki color. As the guys started to sweat in them the color of the shirt started to run. They washed them thinking it would wash out and it left bleach like stains all over the shirts. I would have thought opporator error, but it happened to different guys with different people washing them. Re-printed them with Jerzees and guess what...same thing! My wholesaler then informed me Jerzee and Fruit of the Loom are from the same mill, just labeled differently! So I reprinted them a final time in Gildan and my customer is happy!

In my experience my customers have been ordering Gildan.
We use gildan as a price leader. beefy t as an upsell. Really like the ne Hi-densi-tee and wash tests have been great. We did some dtg and sp on em snd they are priced slightly above g8000 or 5000 but well under ringspuns

I always buy JZ29m. They are the most true to size and wash and dry with minimum shrinkage.
yeah i pretty much always run the jerzees 29m also... they dont seem to skrink AT ALL and the neck doesnt choke me like gildan 2000's do. but like austin300 said... only you can decide your favorite
I use gildan and port and company because I can't always afford alstyle.
