I am going to start sewing 2 inch Poly Twill letters on Ladies scoop neck shirts. Should the top of the letters be 2 inches or 3 inches from the bottom of the neck trim? Or 4 inches? I'm a man, not married or having a girl friend to model the finished product on.

Is this for center chest placement or over the heart?

"Center chest placement". I try to think of everything I should be asking, and always forget something critical and obvious.
If it ever came up, could you give me a suggestion for "over the heart", too?

A 3 inch placement will put the design on top of the breasts. Any lower than that you could run into issues.
