This image, or, design, has four colors...White, light grey, medium grey and dark grey. I understand restoring the words written in white. I have accurip Black Pearl, but, I do not have Photo Shop or Separation Studio. I guess what you are suggesting to me is that I just carefully recreate the motorcycle. The photo is of a t-shirt with the design on it. We use a company that will do the vectorizing and probably will send us color separations. Since we use Corel Draw X7, we are limited to using that. I appreciate your help.

open image in new window and take a look into the surface. i didnt restore the words. the fuel tank is restored.

if you want to convert to vector you need a high resolution image, and you can try to vectorize in corel. but the actual image is photo resolution. more than 4 colors. i can try to help you with no problem.

If you have X7, you can get into PhotoPaint and use it like Photoshop. It's processes are not as streamlined as in Photoshop, but it does do the same thing and it should have been an option to be installed with the Graphic Suite package when you installed X7. You know, just in case you wanted to try your hand at it...It never hurts to learn, and it might help out down the road!

Without the original artwork I think you are pretty much screwed unless you are going to get a lot of them. Where did the artwork come from? I would believe there is a copyright on it at the least.

Which raises another question....who owns the copyright? The owner of the establishment that has been having them made? How can the screen printing company own a copyright on artwork that is the print on a shirt that the owner of the company buying them sells them to their customers? I would say the owner of the company having the shirts made has the copyright. Comments anyone?
