Hi Guys
I am new here and I would love to find out where I can promote my christian t-shirts online.
Do you know of any high targeted site that allows places like skreened to be promoted.

I am new to the t-shirt business as well so please help. I am looking into buying cheap blank t-shirts in the near future to to create my own shirts and sell them at markets and Christian events.
Besides Social media where else could I promote online?

Check out some churches with bookstores in the church. Most of them sell some sort of clothing as well. You wouldn't make as much money as if you sold them yourself, but you would get some sales and your name would get out there. Some of the bigger churches that have coffee shops also sell clothing. Plus you may be able to pick up some of their shirt printing for some extra cash that will then give you the capital for better marketing. That is if your into doing some custom printing as well.

Edit to add: I realize this doesn't help you out with the specific question you asked. Just an idea for another possibility of income and getting your name out there.

Thanks :) There is some food for thought. I am starting online first before I start printing my own. places like Skreened seem good. Not a fan of Teespring because of the time limits.

A domain name and hosting are pretty cheap, so you could setup a web site for your brand. There are templates, and such, that you can use, but it helps a lot if you know your way around a little programming. Then business cards and ads in Christian oriented publications/sites that point to your web site.

Perhaps you could be a sponsor of some church event or project, get your company name on the playbill for the Christmas play, donate some shirts to give away for church fund raisers or as rewards for project volunteers ...

On-site sales at a Christian event sounds like an excellent idea (bring those business cards!).

All that said, search on here for "Christian" and be astounded at all the people who are pursuing a similar path. You all may feel more compelled to spread the Word than anyone does to buy it. That does not mean you can't succeed, but like any other business you will need good products and better marketing.

Social media takes time, I'm building up my facebook page slowly as well as my Twitter followers, Pinterest, Tumbr, blogger, Youtube and so on, on top of that I have quite a few websites so it's a long term thing. I envy those who only have one website to promote. The last thing you want to do is spam people or you can see your hard work lost, your account closed and you have to start all over again so if you use these places you need to research and research even more before going ahead.

I promote daily and started putting pictures of some of my customers shirts I've printed. If im not doing that then I'll just say good morning or give discounts out.

You can see an example of what I do here. http://www.facebook.com/customtshirtprinting

You can promote your tees for free on teespring.com. No cost to put your shirts on the site - BUT - you would need to upload your artwork and use their tees. Various styles, sizes and colors in the templates, including hoodies. Of course, your can use their artwork and text but if you choose to but a lot of people create through photo shop - etc. and upload their graphics and fonts. This is what teespring has on their home page...

Create & sell t-shirts you can be proud of. Sell high-quality screen printed tees with zero upfront costs and zero risk. We ship directly to buyers, you keep the profit.

What is Teespring? Teespring allows you to create & sell custom apparel with ZERO Hassle, ZERO upfront costs, and ZERO risk.

Teespring is the best way to design and sell custom apparel online. You design a product and sell it. The sales money pays for the production of your design and we ship it to all of your buyers. When you use Teespring you don’t have to pay a dollar upfront, guess how many shirts you’ll need, or have to chase anyone down for cash.

It only takes a couple of minutes to launch a campaign and start selling awesome merchandise on Teespring.

The way it works ...
If you go with the minimum number of shirts for your campaign (10), you simply launch and wait to see if your reach your target (and you won't unless you're marketing someway, somewhere and somehow). If you don't reach the minimum number of sales, you don't have to pay a penalty or anything but you must reach your minimum before your shirts are printed and shipped. So if you go with a minimum of 10 and you only sell 5 shirts, they won't be shipped because you didn't reach your minimum. Your customer is not charged - they just don't get the shirt. The difference between shirt cost and sales price is your profit. So if you go with a minimum of 20 shirts and you sell 40, you get the difference between the base cost and what you sold the shirt for. There is a suggested retail price but you have the capability to change it and make it whatever you decide you want your profit to be. Most people seem to make their minimum 20 to 50 shirts per campaign with pricing around $15-25 per shirt, depending. They will also ship the shirt directly to the customer for you. Some people sell 0 shirts on a campaign and some people sell 3000 - it depends on lots of different things as you probably know. But I think teespring is the best thing since sliced bread if you are new to the business and don't have a ton of money to spend learning. Like I said you still have to market to get sales but there are free ways to do that, just takes time and effort. I am new also and have run about 6 campaigns on tee spring in the last couple of weeks. I haven't sold one shirt yet but it's because I am still learning about where and how to market tee shirt specifically to my niche. I did manage to get 272 page likes for one of my campaigns and I only spent $5 to promote the shirt on facebook last week. No buys but as you'll find out "likes" mean a lot in facebook marketing and can be turned into other things. There is a definite learning curve for online marketing but it's a lot of fun and so far I'm enjoying myself and learning A LOT! I joined a facebook group called teespring university and so far the people there have been very helpful. In fact the guy in charge is giving away (for free) a 100 page ebook they gets you rolling with how to set up teespring. He gives a lot of insight as to how he picks his niches, where and how he researches his shirts - the whole 9. Anyway, I have to get back to tee shirt research so I want to wish you the best and I'll leave you with a couple of links...
Custom T-shirts » Design & Sell T-Shirts for Your Group | Teespring (don't forget it's free - you pay nothing out of pocket) and for teespring university - go to facebook and type "teespring" into the fb search bar. It's a closed site meaning you have to request to be a member - but my "permission granted" came back the same or next day. If you join, look for a post by Imran Hanif dated June 20 at 6:16pm. It's the post where he gives the link to the free ebook I told you about. You'll also see a teespring tips site that is open and looks interesting but I haven't had a change to check it out yet. The address is...(https://www.facebook.com/teespringtips).
Toodles!

I didn't realize this was a business marketing thread?

Teespring is the best way to design and sell custom apparel online. You design a product and sell it.
but you must have so many presale orders and if it does not sell your design and time is wasted. You might think Teespring is the best since you work for the company. I thought this was about promotional ideas not which fulfillment service is the best or which can market themselves better on this topic?
