where can i find thermocoupler for national dyer n2408

hello
first post to this site, any help would be appreciated.
i think i narrowed my problem down to the thermocoupler wire for my dryer, i just don't know where to find the part, anyone else have the same problem. also i heard you could wire heating elements directly & bypass heat controller, anybody know how to do this. thanks

I have heard that the thermocouple can be purchased from Grainger (online). Good luck
