Hi, Ive just started getting into shirt printing and Ive bought two silk screens, i Know the basics and Im hoping to learn by trial and error but I need to find a site or a shop that stocks wholesale shirts similar in quality to American Apparel, Obey or All Saints tshirts that are long on the torso but thin with a lower neck.

can anyone help me out please? thanks.

im looking into starting up also so i cant really add to that im afraid looks like were in the same boat! I know the type you mean though as that is the style that i am hoping to aquire. I am just in the middle of my business plan and waiting for a catologue from continental. I dealt with them when i was at Uni for my textile print course and they seemed ok then good to print on no neck label apart from size. If i do come across a tee like as you mentioned i will let you know.
Which other blanks supplier have you looked at? Article 1? Alternative Apparel? ...

Ive literally just started looking into shirts, Ive been doing graphic design as a student at college for 2 years now and I thought it was time to start doing some good quality shirts with decent one colour designs that wont conform to a genre or certain style. that sounds good with the no labels as id like to screen my own size and logo on the inside aswell so it saves the hassle of cutting them out! haha. So would you say continental is best? also would you mind letting me know which is best in the catalogue? I called up american apparel but they are strict who uses there shirts so it usually has to be an already established company or they said I can use them to experiment with but not sell.

all the styles are online anyway i just ordered a hard copy because i prefer it that way. I have heard good things about continental which is why i went with them at uni, but i will get samples elsewhere also... although i prefer the no label saves a lot of hassle!!! Why dont you look into registering a company? you can let the HM Revenues and Tax that you are not trading yet... thats what i did...

Did you have any luck on finding a shirt fit similar to the american apparel ones? also do you know the model number of the shirt on continental that would be best for what i wanted?

i wanted to have the long torso but slim fitted with a lowish round neck but also the shirt needs to be quite thin or thinner than shirts like Gildan or fruit of the loom.

A couple folks already mentioned this...

Continental Clothing is UK based, great quality, great service, high end tees and fleece, AND they are the best, easiest, and most cost effective to custom relabel.
Hey Dan, yeah i called them up but they dont seem to have much of an idea abut the right shirt out of their catalogue that would be similar to AA or al saints shirts, anyone have any recommendations from their site?

I have never dealt with the UK office being in the states, and I know that they offer more in the UK than they offer here, and I don't know how aware they are of AA over there in the UK.

The N03 from the american catalog is their standard go to tee. This would be most similar to the AA2001. I am not sure what AA style you are after, or what All Saints is... Have you checked Conti's website?

AA is definately becoming more recognized over here so Im suprised they arent that aware of it here. Organic Fine Jersey Short Sleeve T-Shirt - Short Sleeves - American Apparel Online Store UK

I ordered some samples of the Vintage washed & Distressed from Continental and to be honest they are that great, the seam o nthe arms are blatent and although the neck has some 'moth bitten' look to it, it doesnt really work well seeing as the tshirt isnt thin and long but more wide and normal fitting.

Could anyone recommend a uk site for
the 50/50 American Apparel style tshirt
All saints tshirts

All Saints | Mens T-Shirts

the model on that page is displaying exactly what kind of fit im looking for...

any help would be really appreciated! thankyou.

Hi
Not sure which Starworld shirts Jamie uses but I've been using the 399 super T they do and have had (virtually) no comebacks with them over shrinkage. For me they easily stand up against the Gildan Ultra's and FOTL Super Premium - I get them from Wholesale Leisurewear, Workwear, Schoolwear, T-shirts, T-shirt printing, Screen-Printing and Embroidery, Cottonprint.co.uk who offer some good wholesale discounts if you buy more than 25 off them.
thats one rediculously priced website...your not trying to advertise this on here for people to use are you! Plenty better supplier sites out there for clothing half this price!

I know this is all rather untimely, but i have a small t-shirt business on ebay: iconic-graphic-t-shirts on eBay

and i am going to branch out into a website on www.cocaineclothing.com

I searched hi-and-low for all saints blanks and i think i found them. They are the blanks of the tee's i sell.

I would be happy to send some samples in the post before wholesale. Drop me a mail. They do have a small black weave on the shoulder. They are available in multiple colors. If you want more images drop me a msg.
