hopefully the picture is good enough to see..1st is the little bitty wrinkles, doesnt show up until im done with my last layer after full press..im thinking its maybe my old parchment paper or too much pressure?

2nd is the shiny stuff around the layers that are shown in the pic hopefully...is that adhesive?..to much pressure, too hot, both?...thanks

Looks like the vinyl is burning and shrinking.

Use low heat to put all the layers on then use one big final good 330° 30sec press with teflon sheet or new parchment paper.

Alpha film?

easyweed..hitting each layer before final for about 3 secs at ~310(according to the machine, need to get a temp reader to be sure) then final i hit it with medium-heavy pressure for 12 secs...tried 15 secs on the last one and same...
First I would hope you try a new parchment paper or something like teflon sheet cover first.

Then that vinyl cannot be layers . We use themorflex plus so we can layer. it saves weeding time.

You have to hollow out each layer so that the vinyl touches the fabric. Like this,

easyweed says it can do 3 layers..
maybe when your pressing down the item is moving?
Has to be something like the shirt is slightly moving when you
press down or when you release.

def not moving, pressing straight down with a swingman 15..im thinking maybe im pressing too hard or hot for easyweed and its smushing the adhesive out..thought i read about that somewhere but cant find it now
and ya the shiny stuff is the adhesive which I like to call glue. The only way around that is less pressure but not to weak to wear it wont hold. Or you can do the hollow trick I stated.

Try different types of vinyl. I always thought of easyweed as low quality. Not bad quality. Just like the lowest of the brands. I have shirts with thermoflex layers for 5 years holes in the shirt but print still 100%. Small amount of shiny adhesive but small price to pay for quality. Or you can hollow out but omg the time.

Price isn't much different.

im new to this so i ignorantly bought a bunch of easyweed because i seen so many ppl praising it but as i work with it i feel there has to be better:rolleyes:..guess ill try lower pressure and a new parchment..im always missing a mark or 2 when i hollow so really dont think ill go that route, thanks for the reply

anyone else have ideas throw em up! thanks!
I don't think you'll get any better ideas. I've been printing 15 years. The only way to know is to make a second one and compare.

If I was printing that on a white shirt I'd just pigment print it JPSS transfer paper and an epson printer about 10 minutes all colors. With the right ink it will last forever.

ive yet to play with jpss but have really been thinking about it, do you think it would turn out fine with my cheapo hp envy 4500 with stock hp ink? (finishing this job with vinyl but for future)
I always recommend you use a printer with a Piezo Inkjet Head
so that would be epson. I also believe brother but dont take my word for it. HP used thermal inkjet head.

To make it simple, Epson drops more ink on the paper than HP .
To see the difference HERE.

Total cost of a print like that with correct pigment inks.
on a white shirt
about $1
shirt about $2
Time about 10 min. allows you to sell for less.
Then you could do dye sublimation.

Printing is always faster and cost effective.

Correct pressing time and pressure/heat is critical.

Is your hix 15 a swing or a clamp?
