Hi, All.

What's the consequence of flashing an underbase too much?

Say, you print the underbase, then you flash it (at about 265F-280F).

You print another color, flash it.

Print another color, flash it.

Then finally print the last color (which covers the last section of underbase.) and cure the t-shirt.

So, in one spot (section) of the underbase, it gets flashed three times. Would that be ok? Or, am I asking for trouble?

Again, thanks, for the help.

If you're flashing to a point where you bring the temp up too much and you're are curing the ink (or partially curing) then your top color(s) won't adhere well, nor lay on completely and it could likely release later.
It's fine to do multiple flashes, because sometimes the job calls for it, but you only want to flash just enough to gel the ink.
