im new to tshirt printing... and im using waterbased ink superwhite to print a black tshirt. i printed already four tshirts with ink leaking outside my design, appearing like a melting design. the emulsion is still okay... but im just wondering what might be the cause of this. i changed my squeegee, i placed an off contact. i just dont know whats causing this... need your expert advice guys. thanks...

If you mean, spreading. May be you can try a finer mesh.

We use 62Thread/cm for water base.
One of two things. Mesh size or ink viscosity.

What mesh size are you using? A lower mesh will push too much ink through.

How thick is your ink? Is it creamy or runny? You may have to let your ink sit for a little while to evaporate some of the water content. This will thicken it up.

Let me know,
John

im using 110 mesh... what size can you recommend? the ink is creamy. thanks for the info john.
try this first.
print without flooding. if it does not help then try it wih 150 thread per inch.
Did you stir up the ink real good before you put it on the screen? Try s higher mesh like 155-200 mesh.

Bump up to 156 (or similar) and you should be golden.

Good Luck!

i didn't stir it. i just scoop that ink and put it on the screen... i guess that's one of the cause of my epic fail. ill try the 155-300 mesh. thanks casperboy77.
