Looking forward to getting an Epson 1100 which I'm going to use for Inkjet (Pigment) Transfers.
Top 2 sytems that come up are (1) Cobra Ink and (2) ArmurInk.

A few that I've found Googling are: inkjetcarts.us / cisinks.com / inksystem.com

Can anybody provide any information on them? Or is there another CIS that I should look at too?

I just bought my second Cobra system today because I like my first one very much. I have also bought from Inkjet Carts. They are nice people as well, but I like the ink system from Cobra.

Any observations regarding ink/quality in print? Normally it's OEM vs Replacements. Having a hard time finding info on comparing different substitutes.

Being both non-OEM, how does Cobra Ink perform vs Inkjet Carts?
Is it also true that you can only use Cobra Inks on Cobra printers (and same for Inkjet Carts)
or can you purchase any bulk inks from other vendors (eg., Coastal, Best Blanks, etc) and use
it on any CIS?

I bought carts from Inkjet, not any ink. The Cobra Dye and Pigment inks perform exactly like the original Epson inks in my opinion (I don't do heat transfers so I can't say about that kind of pigment ink). You don't have to flush the Epson inks out before you run the Cobra inks. I just popped in the Cobra carts in one of my printers when the original Epson carts ran out. Having the bulk system just adds the benefit of not having to fill carts. Adding ink to the bottles is easy.

CIS systems really aren't specific to an ink.
