What type of File does my final design need to be?

Im geting ready to print a few shirts for samples and want to know what type of file my final designs need to be? I am using adobe photoshop to make my designs and gonna be screenprinting. Appreciate any help guys!!

if you are screen printing the shirts yourself...you can print films from PS with the original psd file...if sending out....I would save it as an .eps or .tiff although some printers would rather have the original .psd file.

4 colour or spots?
Use spot channels if you can, makes separating a lot easier.
