I recently bought a vinyl cutter, and I bought 5 different colors of Fashion Film vinyl to play around with. I am ending up with a lot of scraps, and it just seems like a waste to throw them away. Is there anything I can do with these scraps? I saw another post on here that suggested making decals with scraps. Is that something you can do with Fashion Film?

I'm not sure what you make or how big your scraps are, but you could use them to promote yourself. I cut my own logo out of heat transfer scraps and use them on small drawstring or canvas bags for putting samples or one-offs in. You could also use your logo on garments that you have printed. A small logo on the bottom of the sleeve, near the back collar or by the bottom band by the side of the shirt is usually discreet, but It's good to have your brand visible. I hope that helps.

I do practice in weeding with my scrap vinyl ! Also I sell it to women that they have a hobby plotter (search groups in Facebook)
Advertising is also an option as the others said!
Sometimes I use it to correct mistakes!
Last I try to make designs in the same color and width from my scraps ,make t-shirt and sell it!

Thank you for all of the ideas!

How do you use scrap vinyl to fix your mistakes?

I'm really new to this. I'm actually going to the vinyl cutter boot camp at Stahls tomorrow. <img src="http://www.t-shirtforums.com/images/smilies/smile.gif" border="0" alt="" title="Smile" class="inlineimg" />
For example if I damage a letter during weeding or if a letter not stuck to t--shirt then I take a scrap vinyl, cut a new letter in plotter and replace with the damage one
