Hello all! I ordered some jerseys from teamwork and the medium measures the same as the larges, but are labeled differently. The problem is that i didn't find this out until the customer picked them up,which means i had already printed them . So,my question, where do i go from here? Who is at fault for the size mix up? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Hope i have understood correctly, originally, your customer need 2 different sizes jerseys(M and Large) w/printing logo, but you got all same size jerseys(label differently but in same measurements). If it is, I personally think the fault will be on yours, i will think you will compensate the mistaken sizes jersey and replenish with your customers correct size, and you can pursuit some faults from your supplier for the jersey. They should share some lost for the mistake. There is no fault for your customers.

Hi Steve,

the supplier provide you wrong size tees, but you get them printed and send to your customers. Our treat will be:1) Ask customers to send those wrong sizes printed jerseys back and replenish them the correct size jerseys. (ask your supplier to re-send correct sizes jerseys with discounter prices, you swallowed those wrong size jerseys). For the mistake, the supplier and you should share.

What do you think?

in addition, in order to reduce the lost, you may consider to ask your customers to keep the wrong sizes printed jersey as long as you give them a discouned price, because the jerseys is useless to keep in your warehouse with their printed logo. Finally, you may make nothing or lose nothing from the order, just learn from it and avoid it happen next time.

Thanks to all that replied. Now here's a good one. After i posted,i contacted the sales rep at teamwork, explained the problem and told me that they would immediately send out replacements and for me to return the ones in question. However,i was told that if they measured wrong(20" rather than 23 1/2 for large) upon return that i would be compensated for my printing and if not, then i would have to purchase the replacements, which is fair. So,i get the replacements and guess what, they were picked from the same batch and measured wrong as well. Now,im a little steamed and call 2 supervisors respectively and asked them to "personally" do whatever was needed for me to get what i ordered. She did a very good job of stepping in,then sent them overnight for yesterday and the customer just picked them up an hour ago. No what do you think of that ride??

This has happened to me a few times from different suppliers and different reactions.
1 st supplier NO SORRY you should have noticed the fault before you printed (great way to lose a customer we dont buy from them anymore)
2nd supplier THANKS for highlighting this error in the labelling for us we will now go to the shelf and check all our stock so we dont get even more customers on to us complaining and taking up our time resolving issues and customer service time etc..you saved us a bunch of time and effort, we will replace the shirts immediatley for you and put in place some spot checks on our other stocks so we can send feedback to factory if we need to. For this we will credit you the T shirt money and also replace them .
(free shirts whoo hoo) and a very happy customer.
I now use this explaination to any supplier if we need to exchange and it works every time.
