I have been getting a lot of orders with full images and words front and back. Which I have been using inkjet transfer paper/ then using vinyl for words on the shirt. This is very time consuming without a DTG is there any other way or better/ less time consuming way to do this? The orders are too small for plastisol transfers 5-20 shirts.

do you have a laser printer?
if so, look in the laser section here and look for imageclip for lights (Lnfortun has some great instructions)
for darks you should just research in that section and test, test, test

you can also use stencil fonts, or adjust your fonts with strategic 'cuts; into the islands (a, o, b, r, etc.)
then it is a very quick one-pull weed
(also make sure there is only a very slight indent on the carrier sheet and not a cut, adjust blade depth with test cuts on your vinyl to achieve this)
here are some free for commercial-use stencil fonts

Versatranz has a full color screen print. It is really only economical at quantities over 100 though.
