We would like to know some of your opinions on the best t-shirt brands to purchase? We want quality, stuff that does not shrink and is pretty true to size. Also we would be looking to go up to 3xl. Of course we would like to find the most reasonable price without giving up quality.

Thanks you so much and are happy to be a part of the T shirt Forum!

Hey Cheese,

If I'm screening something for someone and they don't ask for s certain brand of shirt. I will print onto a Gildan, I've had good luck with them and haven't had any issues with them shrinking, SKD

Have you used Bella Canvas 3001? This seems to be one that a lot of people are using.

Thanks for the reply and help!
BC 3001, Next Level 3600, American Apparel 2001 are all essentially the same thing in that the others are copies of the AA 2001. Not 100% identical, but close. You can generally find better pricing on NL, and that is what I currently use. They run from XS to 4XL.

Hi Cheese,

There are many good quality brands out there that can fit your needs and provide you with a variety of your customers.

To prevent shrinking you can look at cotton that is pre-shrunk and made with ringspun cotton. Ringspun cotton is processed is processed to reduce shrinking. It will still shrink since it is cotton but it is less prone to shrinking.

The other option is to look at cotton polyester blends which. The blend helps to reduce shrinking as well.

For specific brands, Gildan is by far the more reliable for quality and size/fit. Their SoftStyles like the G640 is a popular choice. Other brands like Bella + Canvas, Next Level Apparel, and Anvil are also great choices. The men's or unisex options usually run true to size like the Next Level 6051 or N6210, the Bella + Canvas 3001C or 3413C, and the Anvil 980 are popular options and all have sizes ranging from XS to 3XL.

Best,
Cailey
