Hey guys, i'm in the market for a heat press. I've narrowed down by brand but see a pretty big price jump from the 15x15 to the 16x20.

My plan is mainly t's (up to size XXXXL).

on the 15x15, is that measurement "usable" space for transfers or is there a setback?

With respect to t-shirts, whats the benefit of having the 16x20 over the 15x15?

Thanks for your help!

The 15x15 machine will print virtually any size design. Even if the transfer is larger than the platen size you can always print in two steps. Very few designs are larger than 14 inches, but there are some. The 16x20 is always the better choice if the cost difference is not a factor. It is easier to print names, numbers and those larger transfers in one step. It is also more comfortable to position the larger size shirts on the 16x20.
