Hey guys,
I'm a total noob in this vast t-shirt design business, but I'm getting there. I was wondering if I could ask for a bit of advice.
I plan on using Jakprints.com to order some shirts once I've finished this particular design - but before I scan in my sketches, I want to know what size document I should be working with in Illustrator? I'm going to be using American Apparel 2001 blanks, and the graphic will cover the front chest / torso area. At the moment I have it set to 15in wide and 30in tall, with 300DPI.
If there isn't a simple answer to this question, please let me know! I'm here to learn and gain knowledge - designing something I'm okay with, but making it print ready is something I'm going to have to work at. I wanna make sure I'm getting it right.
Thanks people.
