I've been outsourcing my screen printing for years. I just decided to try it myself. I have everything except the printer for making the positives. InkJet? Laser? Transparency? Vellum?... I want to purchase the right thing but do not want to spend a fortune at this point. I see a lot of conversation about inkjet... but I have no idea which printer to purchase. Any suggestions?

Well my suggestion would be join some facebook groups on screen printing. They love talking about the best printers. But if I understand right pretty much any epson even a small cheap one can be used to make film positives. It's all in the type of heads they have. Sorry I can't be more specific, but i'm also trying to find a decent printer at a good price and so far this is all i've made out from the never ending ocean of information.

Also keep in mind the facebook groups for white toner printers - like White Toner Success group.
