Hi so I am just about to start out and I am looking for an affordable but good printer. Everywhere I look it says epson wf but all the ones I see are discontinued. Would the 2830 or 2850 be good for heat transfers as they are the ones popping up when I can’t find 7710. Or have you got any other recommendations. Any help would be much appreciated.

One of the EcoTank models is the way to go, as you can use any 3rd party ink you want. Last I knew, no one had yet made 3rd-party carts/chips for the new WF models (and may never).

But you need to consider how large you want to be able to print. The ET-15000 can do 13x19 inches. Some other models can only print up to Letter size.
