Guys,

I've ordered a few sample polo shirts for pressing laserjet transfers onto, and have found that due to the weave, It prints kind of dotty, if that makes sense.

I'm new to this, so am wondering, does anyone else transfer print onto polos, and if yes, what kind do you have the best results with?

I would suggest looking for a "jersey knit" polo if you're looking to do transfers on polos.

Usually polos are embroidered, so the "pique knit" weave doesn't effect the design as it does with transfer printing.

I think there might be a perception that the pique knit weave might be higher quality as well.

Thanks for this!

Sods law as a transfer printer that my first three orders are for polo shirts, one wants single coloured lettering in navy on hot pink polos (what are the chances of finding a mens polo in the UK which is 1) hot pink, 2) does up to 3XL and 3) has a jersey weave. My catalogue states pique in a lot of places, but none state jersey weave in the entire catalogue. I've just looked on the henbury website, but no luck there either.

The second order wants a really detailed multi coloured logo on the front of a black polo, with the same in A4 size on the backs so I guess transfer is the way to go for that too
