I am trying to find the old 90's starter hat font. It looks like this. Could someone please tell me the name of the font. Thank you.

You're probably not going to find a font for it because almost all major sports teams have custom created fonts.

I tried what the font but no match. Also There are other companies now using the same writing. It has to be a font. Can anyone tell me what the closest font would be.

whatthefont will be of no use with artwork like this. Connected script will not work at the site especially from such a poor embroidered sample

Site works fine on individual letters but it won't ID a font that it does not sell. I get better results from whatfontis.com

I have all the NBA and NFL fonts, ill post if i track down the NHL ones

The NFL used the same font in the early 90s I believe raiders have it. Here is the link
