what is the correct heat and pressure needed for heat transfer on canvas bags?

Hi

Im new to t-shirt printing , Ive managed to press a couple of t-shirts so far and some canvas bags.

Can anyone tell me heat and timings for coreect pressing of canvas bags.. Will this effect the colour finish I get.

Im using an Epson 1400 and everything Im pressing is looking dull.

The paper manufacturer's recommendations should be fine. If you are using a 1400, then you are using dye based ink. Pigment inks do a much better job on transfers. God Bless.

Thanks for your help, I have ordered a continuous ink system with pigment ink..
Im using a light tranfer paper at the moment, wich leaves a smooth finish when pressed. The samples the customer supplied have a rougher finish to them. Is this the way Im pressing them or is this a different type of transfer.
