Hi, I am a newer shop with quite a bit of equipment. Now that I have the capability to create almost anything, I am wondering what everyone thinks is the best market to target? Equipment on hand: Embroidery, DTG, Vinyl Printer/Plotter, Heat Press, Screen Print.

B2B? B2C? Wholesale? Retail? Any ideas on specific markets that create good profit at a local level?

Thanks in advance for all advice! :)

For ultimate profits you want volume, minimised costs, high sales price and ideally repeat custom.

But you can't do that by yourself. By saying you have the capability, doesn't necessarily mean you have the capacity. How many employees do you have? How many shifts do you run? What is your equipment capacity? Auto screen press or manual? Single head embroidery or multiple banks of 6? Slower DTG or automated high output?

That in itself should give you an indication of the general sectors you should be hitting up.

Personally, I'd have known my direction before I went and spent all that money. Every area is different. Maybe your retail is weak but business orders are intensive? Perhaps customer walk-ins are the main market?

Do you have a retail premises or just industrial. This all has an impact and influence which we can't really answer for you.

It's a case of knowing YOUR market.
