What is the best t shirts to do embroidery and appliqué on?

I need help finding a good quality blank t shirt. Mostly for toddler sizes. I did find a shirt I love to work with, but can no longer find it in the toddler size. Because I embroidery and appliqué on them and resale, I need the best quality shirt at the cheapskate price. Can anyone help me?
