Hi guys

Im new to silkscreen. I have a limited budget to purchase a press machines. There are several reliable presses out there in the market as such as vastex V1000 or Workhorse odyssey or Riley hopkins WIN. I'm entirely confused on what to get. Frankly speaking I'm not sure what to get. Basically they have the same features.

I would be thankful if you guys write some feedbacks from your own experiences. I guess that would be help to determine the press that I will be getting

if you're trying to save money, then buy a used press.

M&R, Vastex, Anatol, RJennings, Antec are all good brands.

Vastex , Workhourse or Riley Hopkins are all top of the line names for screen printing presses.....if it were me I would get the V2000 by Vastex.......only because of all the research I have done...vastex has all the options I want in a Press.

V2000 is my next target once I expand my operations. Meanwhile i think smaller press will fit my purpose. In addition, I have limited budget for the press

Have you every tried Riley Hopkins Joystick?
no, I havent.....from what I hear the joysticks take a little while to get used to...but still a nice press.

The "limited budget" is certainly understandable. The mentioned presses are all decent. New is sweet but also take a look at the used market. I just saw some good deals...Antec Legend 6/6 $1650, Hopkins 6/4 about the same, couple of Hix pressses and someone on this forum just bought a truck load of equipment for around $3800. Just as a suggestion, avoid "cheap" unfamiliar stuff and go with tried true names. Get as many colors and stations as you can afford, rotary and with micro registration.

A few I check periodically and have bought through:

Craigslist, E-bay, the Classified section here, Digitsmith, a lot of manufacturers sell used/refurbished equipment, Screenprinters.net still has an active classified section, screenprintexchange.com, equip-used.com.
