What is RIP?

What is RIP? what is the purpose of it? it is something i should know about when building my DTG?

57 of you saw this post and not a single one of you knew what RIP is in terms of DIY DTG?? wtf is with this forum...

this forum is just the largest in the universe.
If you don't wanna print white and just cmyk there is no need for a rip.

I would recommend not wasting your time with such a project. The printing results of dtg are not cool.

A new Epson dtg is f****** expensive and good. But you will not get this quality by building a dtg your self

You a wrong a properly build will give you the same qaulity print as commercial ones.

And the Epson sure color printer print qaulity with garment creatotr is far WORSE than output from epson modified printers with RIPS like Kothari, WhiteRIP or Cadlink.
A RIP IS Raster Image Processor. Most of us do not want to give long answers when the info sought is readily available on the net. Just Google it for tons of info.
