Calvin Klein and 2(X)ist make "liquid cotton" shirts. These shirts are extremely soft. I found them at Macy's. The label just says 100% cotton. It felt softer than 40 single. It wasn't one of those really thin shirts either. It had a nice weight to it.

Does anyone know what makes these shirts so soft and who is selling them wholesale?

Thanks,
-Jason

It's probably a high quality cotton that's been run through a silicone or enzyme process to soften it up. Brands like Calvin Klein and 2(X)ist are getting their shirts custom made to their specs by overseas factories. I doubt you will find a domestic supplier selling anything like this. Try bringing a sample to a dye house to see what can be done to achieve the softness. It may be possible to purchase a common blank and have it washed to get the final product you want.
