I'm using the Anabright cartridges with image armor pretreatment for lights and I have never seen this printer print like this well before. I am probably going to switch over to the Firbird inks in the near future as I believe that combined with the image armor will produce the best final product.

I too have bee using image armor. I just recently found out that I have not been using dupont ink. So I just ordered some new cartridges. Hopefully now I wont need to have the settings to the max to get the results I want.

It depends on preference, I get bright whites with Firebird and CMYK hasn't been brighter but I've been testing for about a year. Some people still prefer DuPont though. We just have to make sure that since Firebird is the new guy on the block that its consistent. So far each batch that is tested has been good. One bad batch and whoops there goes a head so there is a high responsibility for Firebird. I am sure they know what they are doing though. There are people that try it and say they like DuPont, then others say its the best thing since sliced bread. They can all agree whether they like it or not that CMYK is very vibrant

I haven't noticed a difference so I think its just preference. My whites with FB are the brightest and the people who like it can agree too. Oh you can blow a head with bad ink and fast. This can happen with any brand though. This is why I tested FB out for so long because I would rather my head blow than 200 others. I think its good ink but I test out each batch to make sure consistency is there. I have very high standards when it comes to ink.
