I am very new. and I just get heat press and vinyl cutter.
It seems all methods dtg, screen printing, heat press has some pro's and con's

I saw for white shirts printing, heat press has some limitation for trimming.
for black shirts printing, dtg is kind of nightmare.
screen printing has hard to make a few shirts.

how do you think of this setup?

heat transfer with vinyl cutter for black or dark shirts and dtg for white or light shirts.

I bet a lot of persons here has more than one method to do business.
Please share your experience for that.

probably, I make plan to do both.

Actually DTG for darks isn't a nightmare if you get a hang of it. Nowadays we do a lot more dark tshirts with DTG, rather than vinyl.

All you need is a right set up (auto preatreeter is a must in my opinion) and you will do just fine
