Go to your local garden department and get a barometer. You may not need one. Anything above 40% humidity should be fine. If you live somewhere that is really dry get a humidifier that goes into the central a/c of your shop. Not some mickey mouse one designed to do a bedroom, Or a green house.lol

Buying an MP10. I've been told to purchase a non-condensing humidifier....I've been doing tons of research, but I'm not sure what to go with.
What you do guys use (make & model)?

We recommend this unit. It is the proper type you need to use - evaporative - and has large water containers so you don't need to refill frequently. We use these in our demo rooms and they work great.
