Hey Everyone... Im starting up and was given advice in another thread to begin with heat transfer and/or vinyl. That is what i will be doing. Just need some advice on what equpment to start off with.

What heatpress should i buy?
I was thinking 16x20 so that i am not restricted on size. Also i was reading that Hotronix Fusion Heat Press by Stahls 16"x20" was a great press. Is it worth the extra money or is there another you would recommend?

What CISS Printer should i buy?
I am aware that epson is a good printer from reading other threads, but which model is recommended? Once again i am willing to put extra money towards quality, but do prefer not to break the bank. (I want it to be able to print the large papers as well, i believe its 11x17).

What Vinyl Cutter should i buy?
I have no idea what types there are, please recommend some that are not crazy priced, but i do want a good quality one and am willing to put the extra money towards a decent one.

Do i need a software program for the Vinyl Cutter or will it be included with the Vinyl cutter itself?
Any input is appreciated?

Is there anything else i am forgetting that i need to purchase? I already know for heat transfer paper i will be getting JPSS.

Buy a quality heat press first. Stahls or GeoKnight. Don't skimp, seriously.

You can start out by doing wholesale purchases of plastisol transfers for some customers who want more detail. You can contract out vinyl cutting if your budget doesn't include a good vinyl cutter -- the heat press is the #1 most important part of getting into the business.

Are you able to specify what vinyl cutters are good? and what the price range will be for a good one?

Also you are saying to buy plastisol transfers? does this mean you are telling me to avoid using heattransfers?
