seriously i need help! what do the pros use to print there t shirts. do they sc reen print or ink jet. i want to start my own line but i want it to be good profesional quality. im willing to invest the money in ink jet but i dont want it to be a waste. whatdo you recomend?

Most t-shirts that you see in retail stores are screen printed.

The pros definitely use screen printing {or forms of it (eg. discharge, water based inks, belt printing, etc.)} but depending on your market and your sales, you may also want to look at getting plastisol transfers or a dye-sub setup.

Those posts that rodney pointed out will surely help explain these, but I just thought I'd highlight a few real quick.

I have been printing for 10 years. i am not bragging but other people in the industry have told me that I print retail quailty product. most everything you see is screen printed. it is faster, lasts longer, and cheaper.

We have printed for a large customer with shirts in Hot Topics and they are all screen printed.(Plastisol, Discharge, and Water Based Inks)
