What kind of backing do you use for headbands? Do I need to use something different because the customers forehead will be right up against it?

Would tear away work? Do I need a fusion type backing to put over it when I am finished?

Thanks
Chance

No it is not a topping. It is pressed on after you clean up the back of the embroidery. We get ours from the PAS store but if you google it, you will find a few places that sell it. We use it mostly on baby clothes so the knots on the back don't irratate the babies skin

So it is similar to Wonder Under? I'll check the PAS store but googling anyting related to "cloud" came up with everything but an embroidery related product. Thanks...

Gunold makes a product called Cover the Back. It is pressed on to cover up the stitches so they don't irritate your skin. It doesn't really stretch so I don't think it will work that well on a head band that will be stretched as it is put on and taken off the head.
