Hi there Sir Zeus. Welcome to forums!

It will all depend on what you are inline to do business... study your market first and make a feasibility. Then comes up on how you will be spending on your investment, will it be short term or long term. There will be costs on equipments on different setups, waterbase application and plastisol application are two different operations.

The man has a dream let him pursue it... Plenty of people have started and been successful with little to no experience.

You call jumping into a business he knows nothing about pursuing a dream, I call it foolhardy. I'm not stopping him from pursuing a dream, I'm trying to help him do it without massive headache and failure. And no, I wouldn't say "plenty" of people have been "successful" with no experience. It's that little myth that keeps driving people into the business and giving screenprinters a bad name for quality and customer service.
