It depends upon how the chips on the carts work, not which printer you have.

Some chips have a reset button thingy you push. Others are supposed to reset when you take the carts out and put them back in the printer. If after doing that it does not work, one is supposed to turn off the printer and unplug it for a few minutes.

Oh, and some require a little handheld electronic device that resets the chips. The place you bought the carts/chips should provide instructions.

Or perhaps you meant: How to reset the ink levels shown by the printer/utility? Usually, once you switch to resettable chips, you simply ignore the level the printer/utility thinks it has, and instead visually inspect the actual ink level in the carts.

All my Wf 7110's have ciss with battery button to reset.

My c88 has refill carts and I touch two small gold conntectors on the cartridge with my magnetic tweezers and when I put it in it resets.

Something like this

Works try it. Also you can reset the waste ink tank with a $20 Chip re-setter. This lets you unlimited head clean and keep your ink smooth with no band lines.

Some carts are supposed to reset when the supposed ink level gets to a certain point (I say supposed, because the printer just estimates how much ink is used for each print).

Take a close look at the web site you bought them from. Contact them if you can't find anything that says how they are supposed to work.
