I dont know about heat pressing on glass, but I HAVE seen vinyl that looks like etched glass. It'd be a pretty small plot so I dont know if it would work, but its an idea....
Just print and cut onto solvent vinyl -- white vinyl with CMYK, or clear vinyl with CMYKW. Easy, cheap, super fast. People can peel off the vinyl, but if she wants cheap, longevity won't be a feature.
yeah, the original idea was vinyl, but 250ish 3x3 glasses dont sound fun to me..lol

thanks

What we do when we have to apply a lot of vinyl is create a template to make things easier to apply.

Basically (this is the hard part) we create a laser cut template of the vinyl, out of chipboard. We put the vinyl sticker upside down in the chipboard, sticky side up, and roll the item over it. Works fast!

Or you can let them apply it and save them the labor rate.
Vinyl on glass is just a "silly" idea.....Just buy them from a vendor already printed....250 should cost you no more than about 1.75 to 2.25 each....

Do you know of a vendor?

Buying from a vendor...

$2.25 for the glass (plus setup?) x 250 = $560 x 30% markup = $730 ($3 a piece). Profit = $168

Buying glass wholesale + vinyl...

$0.80 for the glass x 250 = $200 + $0.10 for the sticker x 250 = $25.00 x 85% markup = $420 ($1.68 a piece). Profit = $170

All depends on what you mean by cheap cheap customer.

Make sure to order a few extras if you sub it out so you have samples for the future clients to touch.

If you are in Ohio there is SabinaOnline | Home But seeing how you did not know about them, you may not already be selling promotional products so it may be hard to buy from them...

You may have to affiliate with folks like Kaeser & Blair is gain access to suppliers like this....Here is something from their catalogue....

There's always the email inbox overwhelmers DiscountMugs. We used them twice before last year when our blank vendor forgot to ship -- they're decent enough. Not the highest quality, but they're easy to use and always have made their deadlines.

Zero days.

When we have super cheap customers come to us, we offer DIY advantage pricing.

"We will print and supply everything, including some extras. You do the hard work."

Again, it all comes down to how cheap this customer is! I would prefer to see him outsource a quality glass print job, but if she's super cheap, he can make the same profit $$$ by letting her do it herself.

Thanks guys, As you guessed it, i do not do any promotional items.
Something you may want to look at is glass etching crème... I ordered some on amazon for like $10 and they say it goes a long long way. Im going to cut vinyl into a template and spread crème ... it says leave for x minutes and clean... presto, you have etched glass. I cant tell you about results because I haven't received it yet, but the reviews say good things.
I guess what you want it bridal transfer designs. I mean rhinestone ones. Many of my clients do bridal apparel including wedding dress. They come to me when they want to customize rhinestone motifs for brides. You can have a try.:)
