Hi. People say that you should have a website to sell shirts online. BUt, once you have one, where do you put it so it can be seen? I understand the branding aspect. Just wondering how to get people to see it. Thanks.
I find social media such as Facebook are starting to cash in more and more with advertising.
Pinterest is meant to be used more by women and for clothing and you can also share an image from a URL which will take the user directly to your site should they like it and want to buy one.
SEO is key but is very time consuming, it's not just about site content (which is very important) but about backlinking. So posting your site link on sites to do with T-Shirts or Skateboarding (if thats what customer you're aiming for) will mean that when google bots come across your site via a backlink it will list your site accordingly of relevance.
There are companies that specialise in SEO (or so they say) but most of it you can research and do yourself. With a little help from your friends and a unique selling point theres no reason why you can't get your site noticed, it does take about 6 months hard graft before you will see this.
