What is the best ink for printing posters & art prints on a Cardstock?

I intend to print some gig-poster like artworks using screen print method on 270 - 300 gsm card stock.

What ink would you suggest me which will give a MONDO posters like finish?

Water based inks (like TW Graphics WB-5500 series, Ryonet’s Green Galaxy, Matsui, Nazdar) OR Solvent based Inks (like Sericol’ s Perfect Matt PM)

Thanks!

We print for MONDO and they use a variety of inks and papers for different effects and finishes.
If you are new to printing flatstock (paper items) I would recommend starting with a heavy cover stock, or cotton rag paper (watercolor paper) and Speedball or TW inks. Stay away from the solvent inks like Nazdar until you have a good grasp on printing paper and have the proper facilities to use solvent inks. The fumes during printing and clean up can be especially hazardous to your health and waste inks need to be disposed of properly.
