I have a small garage and my washtub w/back light will not fit in my dark room. Can I put it next to my dark room in the main work area. If I go straight from the darkroom to the tub and start rinsing will it still expose the emulsion on my design? it will not be in direct sunlight. only the florescent light in my work are.

Your emulsion won't expose in the short amount of time you will be transferring the screen from the darkroom to the washout booth. Even if you're in direct sunlight, it won't hurt it for a couple of seconds much less inside under normal lighting. Besides, you're not burning your screen inside your darkroom are you?

Yes I am. I have a X-Vactor UV Vacuum Exposure Unit and a drying cabinet. I looked up designs for darkrooms and I saw that they all have the same type of exposure unit in the darkroom. is this wrong?
