Washability of the print on EPSON

Hey guys im looking to buy the EPSON SC F-2000, and i am a little concerned of the durability of the ink on the garments after being washed. Does the ink last on the tshirts? Does the effect change of the print after wash?

Washability is absolutely excellent. The shirt still remains very bright. You may find the print to be softer after the first washing, but the print stays consistent after that.

All of my wash test have been excellent. You will have best results on prints with white underbase or if printing straight to white shirts, use an pretreatment, even though not really required it will help. Without the white ink underbase or PT you can expect some fading in the first 2-3 washes on white shirts. The shirt quality makes a lot of difference. Try to use a very good ring spun cotton. Soft combed typed shirts will appear to fade (white shirts). This is actually due to the fibers lifting up not the ink fading, looks similar though.
Have put a control sample of Epson and two media Roland prints through 25 wash cycles and all still look great.

The best analogy for the Epson prints is that the inks seem to have the same washability and durability as screen printed garments.

All my prints are holding up very well with no PT on lights.
Keep washing and testing
Washing out will be your least worry. If your sample was washed out that was mistake happened by printer(person). If your finance is secured ask dealers about money back guarantee demo test machine. This will make you 100% no risk.
Cheers! Beers are on me always.
Shame if will only be wearing this for 4 games of World Cup
