Warning a con man

please pay a special attention to this con man ,we have done lots of designs for Him , BUT He always delay to pay us , and dispeared after get our design , he owned us $247 till now . we have conatct him many times in past three months , he never answered me , Wilson Trophy House/ Hayes Embroidery

I will say that those of us who do digital work appreciate it when you let us know about any concerns rather than ignore us. We've done the work and if you don't intend to pay for it we deserve to know the reason.

I had a customer who ignored me after I did a vectorization project. Then after ignoring my emails for three weeks he wanted me to do another project for him (?) Explained that his customer didn't order the shirts for the last project so he didn't need the vector file.

Needless to say he needs to look elsewhere for his future vectorizations cause I aint doin' em.

Facts speak louder than words, From the above proof , Everybody can see who is lying . The truth is ,

1, You started pace the order in our website on Octomber last year . AND we did total 13 designs for you , but you did not pay us any more except the first order .

2, IF you think all our designs is crap quality , Why do you continue to send us new orders one by one ?

3, We contacted you for payment on Dec 15th last year , Then you said :" i am not in the office untill monday , will contact then , Ok , i wait ,

4,On January 16th this year , I conacted you again for money . The next day , You answered me :" i have been out with sickness , i will pay asap"
Ok , I wait again ,

5 ,From then , You dispeared whatever how many times we contact you ,

6 ,Finally , you appeared after we post your bad behavious , then you threatened me that by email .

ok , this is the true story , everybody can tell who is the Liar .

I don't want to argue with the liar again and again , i just want to show the proof that he is a con man . The above link is a proof that show him paid us the first order on Oct 25th 2017 , then , He sent us total 13 designs within one month ,At the end of the month ,I sent him all his breakdown for payment ,He dispeared .when i expose his bad behavior on forum , He get angry and slander me that crapy quality and overpriced . if like you said that our design is low quality and high pricing . How to explain you paid the first trial order 50% discount ? why do you keep sending us the next 13 designs ? The only reason is you are intent on cheating me .

Damn, I hit the jackpot. I was so bored today, I was thinking about watching soap opera, which is practically unthinkable for me. But you guys saved my day!
This is so much better! I hardly wait for response, cause greatwallvector went full throttle on this

Well I certainly don't know the whole story but Jack has a valid argument. If his work is unacceptable why did the customer place 13 orders over the period of a month?

I've always been a fan of civilized discussion and statement of facts as opposed to calling people names.

Just as a side anecdote, I ordered some bulk material from a factory in China last year and I was extremely satisfied with the quality of the goods and the service of the company, so I don't agree with the term "typical Chinese ripoff." My experience with Chinese business has been very agreeable.

China supplies what you want. You want it cheap they can make it cheap. You want it quality they can do that too. But like everyone else you can't have both.

Like I said earlier, I got excellent quality, excellent communication, a low price, and fast shipping on my order from China. I received exactly what I ordered and way faster than I expected with all the proper paperwork so that I didn't have any hassles from customs. I have zero complaints whatsoever and I plan to buy from them again.

thanks very much ! we have been in embroidery digitizing & artwork vector serrvice business more than 15 years ,99% of our customers is very nice to do business. but every now and then we meet a liar . they get our deisgn and dispeared . it is a leason to me , But i don't hope more digitizers been cheated . I must expose him .that is all .

Just a question, if the customer only paid for the first order and continued to place orders without paying, why would you keep on doing their work? After the second non-payment for work, I would have parked the customer until they cleared up their account. You kinda set the precedent for working for free by not getting paid still doing their jobs.

That's also a good point. What I do when I vectorize artwork is send a small low resolution jpeg of what I've done to the customer for approval along with payment instructions. Once they pay for it I'll send the vector. Sort of a win win situation.

I always send samples in a 3x3 inch image and 72 res at low setting in photoshop. It also has water marks on it. When I get paid I send over ALL file formats in 300-600 dpi and about 13x13 inches.

If I don't get paid then I sell the design for $1 to random people just to piss off the original person.

There have been times where I have made something and not gotten paid, turned around and sold it for much more to someone else.

I got ripped off once by a guy who was in the circle of some of the people I knew. It wasn't much money. But after a few years passed, he contacts me again and asked me to do something else for him. LOL I was like, don't you owe me money!!!! He said, oh, yeah, I'm gonna pay you....I just told him to get lost. I don't need people like that around me at all. I've been freelancing since the 90's and it's rare that I've ever been ripped off. One other crazy situation happened to me once though. I did a job for a woman. She delayed paying me. Then she said, "I got someone else to do it for me cheaper, but I'll still pay you for your work but can we cut the price in half." I said, OK fine. Then I didn't hear from her for another month or so. Then one day she showed up in my office out of the blue to pay me. The amount was something like 174.01 instead of 175.00. I was perplexed. I said, what is this???? She said, Oh, I took the price of the money order out of it! LOL True story! Here's a woman who did not want to imagine herself as the awful person that she actually was, so she decided to pay me, but she was so cheap that she made me pay for the money order, AFTER I'd already cut the price in half for the work!
