I do alot of simulated process printing and my Xante has finally quit. I am looking for a printer that will print vellum and dot patterns. I have had this printer for so long I dont know what else is out there
Your requirements appear not only difficult but potentially impossible for an inkjet photo printer. Vellum is too thin; dot patterns require smooth continuous surfaces. If you really need what you're describing my first recommendation would be to consider printing it using a letterpress instead of an inkjet photo printer
