Visiting cards are awesome, but they've been largely obsolete for a hundred years.
Businesses have long since replaced them with business cards, and those? Yes, those are quite important for business. Even if you have little in the way of face to face contact with customers, they are often the de facto business credentials of trade shows and the like.
