Viper Load does not work, goes in reverse

My DTG Viper was working fine last night, then all of the sudden I go to load the next job and the platen comes back at me. Same thing after many off and on resets. Still does not load. How can I tell if this is something I can fix vs needing a new media sensor? Still waiting on ColDesi to call me back. Please, if anyone has any ideas on how to troubleshoot, clue me in.

Sounds like the reverse phase bar ( star bar) is in the wrong position. Needs to have the turrets facing up on startup.

Just got off the phone with ColDesi, they said the same thing. When I reversed it, the load seemed to work, but the forward now goes in reverse, and the reverse didn't go anywhere. so the Open end of the turrets should be facing up, is that what you are saying? If so, they were. Could that bar be 360 degrees out of whack? if that makes sense? Everything else seems to be working. I can move the platen forward to where I think it should be, but with a sideways shirt, that could make the centering rather sketchy...
Any idea where I can get a media sensor so I can change it out to troubleshoot that?
make sure the sensor is high enough to make contact with the platen, try turn the platen around, or try to move it on to a higher position, you can see the manual for adjusting

the exact starting line in the viper, is touching the white small pivot, that is between 2 screws and next to the conveyor belt, if you push load button this is where the platten stop, you could draw a small line with a aqua marker o put a fridge magnet to see a line and will not move, that way you could load the platten manually
