Hi all, purchased my gx-24 today, very happy

All working fine with the test vinyl

I have a roll of vinyl to start working with but it is 500mm wide. I think most of my designs are a4 size.. is it best to just cut a few at a time even if not needed, or cut out peices of the roll. bit confused, cheers

I'd cut what you need, then keep as large a scrap piece for future jobs.

Your cutter or software should have a function that will determine what size piece you have for those jobs.

But looking at the roland book to load the roll, if i follow that, i would be cutting the wrong side of the vinyl. confusing

I always just load the roll, and cut our what I need. Whatever scrap is left over I always keep to use on smaller designs....
