hey everyone, I have a customer that wants 200 vinyl decals made. They want them 2" x 2". & it is a 2 color decal..how would you yall price this? How much of a price cut do I give for 200 pieces? Thanks in advance

Are you able to print on vinyl? If not better check on that logo to make sure you can get and do those 2 colors first. I charge by the square inch of vinyl used. That covers the cost of the vinyl, cutting and weeding, and application if need be.

No printer just cutter..i can do the two colors no problem. How much per sq inch should I charge? Im new to the vinyl game

We cannot give you a square inch cost for YOU since our overhead and labor would be different. You can take the cost if your vinyl per sq inch..add fir overhead. I do not us square inch method and it does work....I like to use running foot cost to capture the cost of waste vinyl..example...I have an 8 inch image and 15 inch vinyl...meaning I have left over vinyl of 7x8....not a lot of use to me...

That's a pretty small area. Is the text that needs to be weeded in the design? If not, then $2 might be OK. $3 if there is text. I'd be printing them for $1 each.

Good idea. On something that small with that many to do, text can really break your profits, and could take so long to do you will lose money. Small text can be tricky. You might be better off getting someone to print those for you at a contract price and marking them up for your profit. 200 two color small text takes a long time to do. In this case though, printing will not help that much if there is no background.
