Hello, I was wondering if it's possible to make a vinyl cutter work without the included software key? I have the vinyl express r series 2 and it worked great until my ex-wife decided to take the software key. Now it does not work. Is there a way to make it work off of coredraw or some other software? Please help!!

Looks like this software is compatible with your cutter. Corel Draw and other apps like it won't access the cutter directly. I use corel to design in then import in to my cutter software. I suspect this is what you'll have to do to. Don't there's anything free, but this would get you cutting again. Hope this helps.

You will need a plug-in to enable direct cutting from Corel or Illustrator. Contact Sign Warehouse to see if they have a plug in available. If not, consider SignCut or Vinyl Master cutting software. You can do a 1 week trial of SignCut if you are in a pinch and need something immediately.
